We are looking for a Lead System Designer you will be accountable for the design of customized and modified products produced and delivered to customers in the Biotech market.
The Lead Systems Designer creates design documents and leads the technical coordination of small to mid-sized cross-functional project team to deliver the technical content, performance, and quality deliverables of a custom project. The role responsibility is to ensure that product projects achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including: feature and functionality, quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory and compliance. The Lead System Designer must understand and capture the user needs and translate that into system requirements.
There are business travels 2-3 times per year and during final verification process (typical 2-4 weeks) the requirement is to be full time in office.

Deliverables:
Ensuring that the quality targets are satisfied and mitigating technical risks as they arise in the project .
Leading the design team and design control process from requirements development and design planning to design transfer.
Developing requirements for system design and perform risk analysis, field and customer support including corrective and preventative actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control milestones.

Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent
6 years progressive experience as an engineer, scientist within the appropriate field of study or within technical systems designs
Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc)
Experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment Visa mindre

We are looking for a lead system designer working primarily in customer projects where you will have responsibility over the quality and functionality of customized products, including specifications, component & equipment selection and regulatory compliance.
Your daily activities are to work closely with the other design disciplines (Mechanical, Automation and Electrical design) to ensure that all the requirements from the customer are captured and implemented on the product.

You will also represent the design team and support the customer with technical knowledge during the acceptance test. The project team consisting of 8-10 persons from different disciplines.

Areas of Responsibilities

- Read customer specification and translate this into specifications and designs.
- Perform design reviews internally and externally with the customer.
- Coordinate design activities between functions (Mechanical, Electrical and Automation design).
- Ensure regulatory compliance of your products.
- Act as a support function for manufacturing and Verification


Background - MSc or BSc within Mechanical/Electrical engineering, Physics or Biotechnology focus.

- Fluently in English written and oral.
- Previous documented experience within product development or process development with technical interest.
- Project management skills is meriting.
