The role
As a UX/UI designer at App Shack, you will collaborate with clients and colleagues to build great user experiences. You thrive on working across disciplines and enjoy conducting product discovery, doing research, and holding workshops. When designing wireframes, flows, and prototypes, you keep the birds eye perspective while going into the details. Most importantly, you know how to balance the needs of the business side, developers, and end-users while producing top-class UI and UX.
You have a knack for solving problems creatively, and you enjoy collaborating with your team. You are comfortable working in an advisory environment and are good at communicating with clients. You look forward to working with talented colleagues and build top-notch products.

Responsibilities
Create wireframes and user interfaces to a high standard
Apply established design standards consistently and appropriately
Develop user journeys, personas and flow
Prototypes for user testing and presentations.
Collaborate closely with the design team and developers
Create comprehensive documentation and design systems
Facilitate discovery/evaluation workshops with colleagues and clients
Plan, conduct and synthesise user testing and research
Stay informed about the latest design trends and best practices.



Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Product design, Graphic design, Fine arts).
Extensive experience in UX/UI for digital products, ideally 7+ years.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Pitch).
Experience working with app and digital product design.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
Advanced understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
Ability to coach and mentor junior designers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of current design trends and industry best practices.
Experience working on complex design projects.
Fluent in English
