Your Role as IT-support engineer
The IT team at Dirac Research is looking for a curious and service-oriented technical colleague. At a company-wide level, the team ensures that all IT systems function optimally, while at an individual level, we get to know our colleagues and equip them with the right tech.
You can throw the idea of a typical day out the window. Generally, you can expect 100+ people worldwide (most of them in Sweden) to rely on you for their support needs—whether it’s troubleshooting computers, fixing VPN errors, ensuring the right permissions for the job, setting up new employees, updating applications and security baselines, or handling everything in between.
You'll be troubleshooting technical issues, implementing tests and automations to help the team optimize efficiency, and participating in projects aimed at making the IT environment more efficient and secure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote and hands-on support for Windows, macOS clients, systems in a Microsoft Entra ID environment, Office 365 and Microsoft Intune
Leverage our MDM tool (Intune) to setup, deploy, update, troubleshoot, and retire computers through their lifecycle
Efficiently respond to requests for technical assistance via ticket system (Jira Service Management)
Troubleshoot in a timely manner and follow through with users to make sure they can do what they do to help them be richer, smarter and happier (coupled with rapid communication)
Take initiative in improving the team, improving the customer experience, and improving your skill-set - never settle for "that's just how we've done it" when you see ways to improve our support experience
Ensure your team can provide an efficient level of coverage online during core business hours

Skills and Qualifications
As English is our corporate language, proficiency at a minimum of an upper-intermediate level is required
Ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
We don't care much about titles, but you may self-identify as a Tier 1+ Tech Support professional, on your way to Tier 2
Demonstrated experience working with Entra ID Users and Groups Management (i.e. - edit accounts, manage memberships, etc.)
Experience deploying, configuring, managing and supporting computers and phones in Microsoft Intune
Security experience with AIP, ATP, DLP, MFA and EMS
Experience working with cloud providers like Azure and AWS
A good understanding of Microsoft 365 concepts including Exchange Online, OneDrive for business, SharePoint Online
Comfortable working within a ticket system (we use Jira)
Experience with handling hardware + inventory tracking skills
EU citizenship or hold a valid work permit in Sweden

What you will do at Dirac

As a Tuning Field Application Engineer at Dirac, you will analyze, define, and execute automotive audio tunings, using Dirac tools, both in Dirac offices and at customer sites around the world.


You will participate in automotive projects throughout the whole project phase, from presales (evaluating audio system configurations), demonstrations (Proof of Concepts, feasibility studies), planning, execution, and maintenance (in case of support issues). You will be responsible for ensuring to deliver a high quality and on time deliverance, therefore you will work closely with local and remote SW developers and other audio systems engineers to resolve issues/bugs.


Travels to customers occur frequently. Customer oriented and responsive to customer needs, while also protecting the integrity of Dirac products is key to success in this role.


In this role the main areas of responsibility will include, but is not limited to:



• Support presales activities like system configuration evaluations and participate in customer meetings
• Perform automotive audio tunings according to Dirac guidelines on customer projects and demos
• Travel to customers and perform on-site tuning and other support (e.g. China, India, USA, Japan, South Korea and Europe)
• Perform tuning training sessions to partners and customers
• Support improvements of Dirac solutions and report potential issues and work with different departments to help isolate, debug and resolve issues
• Plan and administrate global tuning projects
• Support presales activities like system configuration evaluations and participate in customer meetings


The Tuning Field Application Engineer has great development potential to become an Audio System Engineer, which means a responsibility for creating signal chains, perform training sessions to customers/internal and mentoring fellow colleagues.


Who you are

You are an experienced Sound technician or have a great experience in audio processing. Audio is your thing, so a solid understanding of the audio field (freq, delay, EQ etc.) is self-explanatory. You also like to have the world as your oyster.



• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, Signal Processing or other related field
• Excellent English skills are required to communicate effectively with team members and customers

You will participate in automotive projects throughout the whole project phase, from presales (evaluating audio system configurations), demonstrations (Proof of Concepts, feasibility studies), planning, execution, and maintenance (in case of support issues). You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery from Dirac is in quality and on time. The candidate needs to work with local and remote SW developers and other audio systems engineers to resolve issues/bugs.


Travels to customers occur frequently and you should be customer oriented and responsive to customer needs, while also protecting the integrity of Dirac products.


In this role the main areas of responsibility will include, but is not limited to:


- Build signal chains of Dirac products to be used for demos, projects or PoCs


- Support presales activities like system configuration evaluations and participate in customer meetings


- Perform automotive audio tunings according to Dirac guidelines on customer projects and demos


- Travel to customers and perform on-site tuning and other support (e.g. China, India, USA, Japan, South Korea and Europe)


- Perform tuning training sessions to partners and customers


- Mentor and develop other team members


- Support improvements of Dirac solutions and report potential issues and work with different departments to help isolate, debug and resolve issues


- Plan and administrate global tuning projects


Who you are

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, Signal Processing or other related field


- 4+ years working as an Audio System Engineer, Tuning Engineer, Audio Engineer or other similar roles within the Automotive domain


- Excellent audio processing skills (working with compressors, EQ’s, limiters, etc.)


- Very good understanding of car audio systems; including digital and analogue signal chains, amplifiers, transducers, etc.


- Excellent English skills are required to communicate effectively with team members and customers

The Customer Integration Engineer is part of the Sales organization and is responsible for customer specific integrations, adaptations and testing. You will act as a buffer between R&D and the customer frontend related roles in various technical issues. The Customer Solution (CS) team resides within the Sales organization and focus on delivering customer value in different stages of the customer interaction process. This means early in the presales process, to deliver RFI/RFQs, demos, and conducting feasibility studies on the customer platform but also to handle post-sales, with delivering the project and support/bug fixing. CS have the resources globally to handle project management, consumer support, customer integration and car audio tuning. In the presales stage, you will be a fundamental part of the RFI/RFQ analysis and to analyze customer requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties
Integrates and verifies R&D platform releases into customer specific HW and audio frameworks
Integrating HW and audio framework for chipset variants where applicable
Support OEM to identify the root cause of SW bug found during integration testing
Solve bugs in integration code or co-work with relevant R&D teams to solve DSP library or Runtime related issues
Support analysis of new customer requirements
Provide input to CPM for project planning and task allocation, and give status updates
Contribute on designing and implementing new test methods to address new products delivery
Act as a technical interface between R&D and customer frontend SW support

We are looking for a senior SW engineer, backend, for our Home & Pro team in Uppsala, Sweden.
The team develops and productizes our renowned Dirac Live solution for room correction and bass control, targeting home AVR’s (audio video receivers), as well as home and professional studio users. We have some of the world’s largest AVR brands as our customers. The solution enables calibration,correction,and optimization to enhance sound system performance and minimize any negative influence of room acoustics.It is based on end-user measurements, feeding into patented and highly unique correction technology. Part of the solution is integrated into the AVR, and part is an end-user app, for either desktop or mobile. We are currently improving the user experience as well as developing new powerful features to improve the audio experience even further.

As a senior SW engineer for Dirac Live, you will join an agile product team of passionate developers and audio enthusiasts. You will contribute to the solution’s backend processing, with design, implementation, test, and evaluation of algorithms for estimation and design of filters for calibration,correction,and optimization. Most of the implementation is in C++ running locally inside the end-user app, but with some parts running in the cloud. Your responsibilities will include conversion ofMatlabor Python signal processing algorithms into scalable and maintainable C++ code, optimizing algorithm complexity (cycles and memory footprint), implementation of heavy signal processing algorithms in the cloud (AWS), assisting the product owner to refine complex and large work items into smaller, valuable,and estimated user stories, evaluate and improve the audio quality of the audio processing algorithms, assist with 2nd line customer support, and maintain and improve the infrastructureand processes for build, test, and release.

As an Audio System Engineer at Dirac, you are mainly expected to support presales and customer projects in reviewing audio system configurations, guiding customers in audio processing, plan and execute car audio tunings, using Dirac tools, both in Dirac offices and on site at customers around the world. For the right candidate, Dirac expects you to be able to live in China for up to a year, to manage important customer projects together with our team based in China. Your key responsibilities
Strategy & planning:play a key role in the development of the digital marketing and social media strategies plus lead the planning and implementation to help drive industry and consumer engagement
Stakeholder engagement:engage with stakeholders at numerous levels to get input and feedback on projects
Website:drive the website and our B2B2C website project on a day-to-day basis, manage update request and priorities
Agency engagement:work with agencies

What you’ll be doing
You will define our social media strategy in our various markets, analyze, create content, propose strategies, and also work hands-on to manage all our social media channels, in English. It is thus a role that is both operational and strategic. You will work closely with our sales, our marketing department and our bureaus. Your everyday life will be characterized by pace, growth, and creativity. You will also be doing some design work in In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Your Challenge
You have a high ability to work and collaborate with team members, can prioritize well, and can work at a high pace. You express yourself very well in Swedish and English. You have an interest in sound, technology or perhaps music or have worked in another industry and have gained knowledge and expertise from your experience.
