Role Overview
We are looking for an engineering physicist or, similar background, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to bridge the gap between our technical R&D team and commercial operations. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing engagement: you will help explain, demonstrate, and adapt our water technology solutions to client needs while contributing to research and product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Support the sales team in technical discussions and presentations with customers.
Explain complex technological concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with R&D to improve and adapt solutions based on customer feedback.
Conduct field visits and demonstrations, ensuring customer understanding and satisfaction.
Engage in problem-solving, identifying opportunities for innovation or performance optimization.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Drupps technology and relevant market developments.

Qualifications
Master’s degree.
Three years of experience in technical development and implementation.
Degree in engineer physics or related technical discipline.
Fluency in English and Swedish; additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage clients and colleagues effectively.
Proven ability to translate complex technical information into accessible explanations.
Interest in technology and innovation, with curiosity to learn and grow.
Willingness to travel and meet customers internationally.
Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-evolving environment.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with industrial technologies or sustainability solutions.
Previous experience within sales
Experience within the ceramic tile production or food production.

Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of proven experience in business development, strategic sales, or a similar role with a track record of success.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
A strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, WebCRM)
High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Preferred:
Master’s degree or MBA.
Experience within the ceramic tile production or food production.
An existing network of contacts within our target markets.

The job
You will be a very important person in our commercial team and your workplace will mainly be at our headquarters in Uppsala. Nevertheless, the role will require traveling to customers both in Europe and around the world.
You will be driving the sales work together with both our technical team and the CEO. The sales work includes qualifying leads, managing dialogues with potential customers as well as closing deals. The role also entails managing our CRM-system, preparing sales material and maintaining and reporting our sales funnel. You will also be participating in exhibitions and other sales supporting activities in different parts of the world.
We need you to have the ambition to grow with the role as the sales work at Drupps evolves over time.
As our customers are located all over the world, fluent English is a requirement. Moreover, as Latin America is a key market for Drupps mastering Spanish and understanding business culture in Latin America is strongly meriting.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar discipline
Sales experience
Self-going, ambitious, and not afraid to take initiatives to get things done
Relevant job experience of customer-oriented problem-solving
Living in Uppsala region
