What you will do and why:

We are currently looking for a Pricing Manager dedicated to refining and implementing strategic pricing initiatives to boost our profitability and secure a competitive stance in the marketplace. As a key contributor reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll ensure our pricing models are not only competitive but also aligned with our business context, customer needs and market trends. Your role involves deep dives into market analysis, close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments, and leveraging data to shape our pricing strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding the company through pricing decisions that influence our overall success.

You will be responsible for:

Identifying gaps in our current pricing strategy and planning improvements from start to roll-out

Monitoring data from various sources including CRM, Financial systems, Production data etc. to report on pricing performance, competitiveness etc.

Participating in customer meetings along with Business Development to understand how our pricing and contracts are being presented, perceived, and what can be improved

Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

Assist in creating promotional campaigns, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis

Developing pricing proposals for new products and services

Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors while staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamic

Managing the process around pricing board – a cross-functional group that can be brought together for key discussions and decisions regarding pricing strategy


As a professional, we would like you to have:


A degree in Business Administration or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation

Experience with enterprise sales of complex SaaS products, including a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts

Experience with managing complex pricing projects including cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders

Advanced skills in excel and other data analysis tools You are highly skilled in excel and other data analysis tools like Power BI


Experience in the Life Science or clinical trial industry is considered a merit.

 

As a person, we would like you to have:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical skills, are comfortable dealing with numerical data, and have strong attention to detail

A pro-active project management attitude to follow up with stakeholders and drive projects forward

What you will do and why:

We are currently looking for a Pricing Manager dedicated to refining and implementing strategic pricing initiatives to boost our profitability and secure a competitive stance in the marketplace. As a key contributor reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll ensure our pricing models are not only competitive but also aligned with our business context, customer needs and market trends. Your role involves deep dives into market analysis, close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments, and leveraging data to shape our pricing strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding the company through pricing decisions that influence our overall success.

You will be responsible for:

Identifying gaps in our current pricing strategy and planning improvements from start to roll-out

Monitoring data from various sources including CRM, Financial systems, Production data etc. to report on pricing performance, competitiveness etc.

Participating in customer meetings along with Business Development to understand how our pricing and contracts are being presented, perceived, and what can be improved

Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

Assist in creating promotional campaigns, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis

Developing pricing proposals for new products and services

Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors while staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamic

Managing the process around pricing board – a cross-functional group that can be brought together for key discussions and decisions regarding pricing strategy


As a professional, we would like you to have:


A degree in Business Administration or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation

Experience with enterprise sales of complex SaaS products, including a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts

Experience with managing complex pricing projects including cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders

Advanced skills in excel and other data analysis tools You are highly skilled in excel and other data analysis tools like Power BI


Experience in the Life Science or clinical trial industry is considered a merit.

Your role

In this pivotal role, you will, supported by our sales and product teams, optimize our product packaging and create and maintain price models in support of profitable growth. You will continuously monitor and analyze the impact of current pricing and define appropriate price levels for existing and new sales objects. Your work will be based on your product and business understanding, cross-functional collaboration, your deep insight in industry trends and on the findings from your research on market development and the competitive landscape. 

Building up the price management function in Aurora Innovation, it will be your responsibility to develop, establish and drive effective pricing processes, to be deployed throughout the product and contract life cycles. You will also be responsible for the documentation, communication and training related to product packaging and pricing.

You will be a member of the Product Management team, reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Who are you?

In order to thrive in this position, you must not only have a strong business focus and true interest in the product and it’s value to the customer, but you most likely also have

·      A structured and methodical approach to you assignments

·      Analytical skills, with an ability to think critically, analyze data, make difficult decisions and solve complex problems

·      Strong self-management, power of initiative and prioritization skills

·      At least 3-5 years experience as a Pricing Manager in the software business, preferably in a SaaS context. Ideally you have additional experience from working within and/or in close cooperation with sales, business development, marketing, product management and finance.

·      A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business & Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management or other relevant field (or equivalent acquired skills and qualifications)

We believe you are a very collaborative person with excellent communication skills and an ability to build trust. Experience from healthcare, health-tech, telecom and/or the IT sector will be of great advantage.

Global Pricing Analyst is part of a specialized team building the Pricing capability in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Immunodiagnostics Division. The Pricing team defines sustainable pricing strategies, processes, and tools, and oversees analyses, tools deployment, and training in order to build best-in-class Pricing capabilities across the global Immunodiagnostics business. The key focus of the role as an analyst is to develop and subsequently be responsible for the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software which is the basis for the pricing strategy in the commercial organisation.
A day in the Life:
Track the utilisation of the CPQ tool within the commercial organisations and recommend approaches for increasing acceptance.
Make sure QA performs user acceptance testing.
Make sure ETO enables the synchronization of products from CPQ to the Opportunity in Salesforce
Communication of CPQ features, benefits, and changes to users and stakeholders of CPQ.
Responsible for the International quotation excel tool. Development and Governance. Support the commercial organization.
Participate in the pricing process where the optimal list price levels and lowest accepted price level per customer are defined.
Work with Portfolio Lifecycle Management to ensure product launches and discontinuations are reflected in the Global List price structure in a timely and functional manner and communicate it appropriately.
Create communication material that explains the pricing groups/e-trainings.
Set the relevant country discount curve and implement it in CPQ.
Provide feedback and develop ideas for further development and support of the pricing strategy.
Continuously add new products and remove discontinued products from the system.
Provide day-to-day business user support for the CPQ system including system access and user profile rights.
Support users to build quotes and get them through the approval process.
Have super user meetings and capture feedback.
Run training programs for new and existing users.
Develop and maintain CPQ documentation including requirement documents, user stories, workflow, test scenarios, training material, and other documents related to the tool.
Work on enhancements, ensuring application functionality and further development with new application releases including usability improvements.

Keys to Success:
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher learning institution (preferred area of study: Business, Mathematics, Data Science) is desirable

Experience
Solid understanding and use of CPQ and SAP
Experience in life science pricing is preferable

Self-motivated with the ability to positively contribute to the team
