Who we are looking for:

- Care assistant/vårdbiträde



Your responsibilities:

- performing simple tasks in the elderly care home, such as unloading the dishwasher, setting the table for breakfast and other meals;

- light cleaning and laundry duties, including loading/unloading washing machines and folding clothes;

- accompanying residents on walks and participating in other activities in the elderly home;

- taking part in basic care tasks as you become more confident in your role.

Requirements:

- you speak and understand Swedish at an intermediate level;

- you are registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen);

- you are eligible for employment through the "Introduktionsjobb" program by Arbetsförmedlingen;

- experience in hospital, elderly care or personal caregiving is a plus (if you have such experience, your Swedish can be basic).



Your profile:

- you are motivated to work with/near elderly people;

- your priority is the well-being and comfort of the residents;

- you are proactive, independent, and confident;

- you are friendly, positive, and willing to help others.

What the employer offers:

- full-time contract (100%);

- supporting external events and conferences from planning through execution, both in-person and virtual;

- handling travel bookings, logistics, and administrative coordination related to face-to-face events;

- building and maintaining long-term relationships with external stakeholders, users, and community partners;

- collaborating with internal teams on outreach-related projects as needed.

Requirements:

- a university degree in a relevant field and experience in external communication, especially in B2B or complex environments such as life sciences;

- fluent English, both written and spoken, with confidence in communicating on professional and technical topics;

- experience in coordinating digital communication or engagement activities;

- proficiency in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines;

- strong adaptability and a proactive mindset;

- ready for international business trips up to 5-6 times a year (duration - about 1 week);

- performing clinical assessments of case series related to potential safety signals, including causality assessment and literature review;

- critically reviewing signal assessments carried out by team members and ensuring scientific accuracy;

- contributing to scientific communication by writing articles for the WHO Pharmaceuticals Newsletter and peer-reviewed journals;

- presenting findings at international scientific conferences and professional events;

- collaborating with colleagues across UMC’s departments, such as Education & Training and Research;

- working closely with WHO’s Pharmacovigilance team to support the advisory committees on medicine and vaccine safety (ACSoMP and GACVS).

Requirements:

- medical doctor (MD, MSc) or pharmacist (PharmD, MSc) with recent experience in healthcare, research, or pharmacovigilance;

- strong analytical and critical thinking skills;

- proficient in scientific writing with a high level of attention to detail;

- fluent English, both written and spoken;

- proactive and capable of independently driving projects to completion;
