Jobbeskrivning

Som Maintenance Engineer ansvarar du för att underhålla och förbättra prestanda, tillförlitlighet och efterlevnad för vår produktionsutrustning och våra system. Du arbetar i nära samarbete med produktion, teknik, kvalitet och externa partners för att säkerställa att underhåll, kalibrering och inspektioner planeras och genomförs enligt interna standarder och regulatoriska krav.

Rollen kombinerar praktiskt tekniskt arbete med planering, koordinering, dokumentation och kontinuerliga förbättringar. Du förväntas arbeta självständigt, fatta välgrundade tekniska beslut inom ditt ansvarsområde och aktivt bidra till en säker och effektiv GMP-reglerad produktionsmiljö.



Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter

I denna roll tar du helhetsansvar för underhållsaktiviteter genom hela livscykeln - från planering till genomförande och uppföljning. Dina arbetsuppgifter omfattar både operativt arbete och förbättringsarbete. Du kommer bland annat att:

* Planera, koordinera och följa upp förebyggande och avhjälpande underhåll för att säkerställa hög tillgänglighet på utrustning och säker produktion
* Leda eller delta i större underhållsaktiviteter, produktionsstopp och tekniska projekt
* Säkerställa efterlevnad av GMP, interna rutiner och regulatoriska krav kopplade till underhåll och kalibrering
* Utveckla, uppdatera och förvalta styrande instruktioner, rutiner och systemdokumentation
* Ansvara för serviceavtal och samarbeta nära med externa leverantörer
* Driva och hantera avvikelser (NC) samt korrigerande åtgärder (CA/CC)
* Säkerställa korrekt reservdelstillgänglighet och effektiv underhållsplanering
* Arbeta i och ansvara för produktionsnära IT-system såsom CMMS
* Genomföra periodiska genomgångar av utrustning, system och dokumentation
* Aktivt bidra till initiativ för kontinuerliga förbättringar och ökad tillförlitlighet



Kvalifikationer och krav

För att lyckas i rollen ser vi att du har en stark teknisk grund kombinerad med ett strukturerat och kvalitetsdrivet arbetssätt. Du är bekväm med att ta ansvar, arbeta självständigt och samarbeta tvärfunktionellt. Vi söker dig som har:

* Kandidatexamen inom teknik (mekanik, el, automation, produktion eller liknande), eller motsvarande relevant erfarenhet
* 2-5 års erfarenhet av underhåll eller reparation och underhåll inom tillverknings- eller industrimiljö
* Erfarenhet av arbete i ett reglerat kvalitetssystem, gärna GMP
* Praktisk erfarenhet av industriell utrustning i produktionsmiljö
* Erfarenhet av planering, koordinering och genomförande av underhåll
* God förståelse för efterlevnad, dokumentation och regulatoriska krav
* Förmåga att fatta tekniska beslut inom ditt ansvarsområde
* Mycket god kommunikationsförmåga i både svenska och engelska

The Service Upgrade Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating service upgrade projects and manage minor upgrade projects. The role is responsible for planning out service upgrade projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring that upgrade projects are delivered on time. This role will oversee the upgrade backlog and ensure that all delivery dates are updated and communicated to the customers as well as work cross functionally with other departments and ensure resource alignment.
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Global Services Custom Products and Repair Center Operations and is part of the Customer Support Multifuction department located in either Uppsala or Umeå, Sweden and will be an on-site role.
What you’ll do:
Project leading from start to finish on customer upgrade projects, including communication with the regions, internal meetings with Custom Engineering (CE) resources, external contact with suppliers.
Create part numbers based on project needs
Update Project tracker with the latest updates for each project
Manage the minor upgrade projects through installation and making sure the projects runs smoothly.
Maintain appropriate relationships and work with both internal and external suppliers to get pricing and material for each upgrade.
Assemble and quality check each minor upgrade before sending to the customer.
Write any needed documentation for the field team to execute the minor upgrades at the customer site.
Work closely with our manufacturing and align resources needed to deliver upgrades.
Ensure regular communication to key stakeholders and end users (Service Managers/Field Engineers)
Packing and quality control of complex upgrade parts.

Who you are:
High level of technical knowledge and understanding (hardware/software)
Bachelor of Science/ Engineering or equivalent
5-10 years experience as project coordinator preferably with electrical and automation design or in a similar role

Position summary
Develop test procedures for our reactor and connected process equipment.
Prepare, conduct and document test runs.
Ensure compliance (safety, regulations, …).
PLC programming.
Mechanical and electrical preparation / improvement of equipment set-up.
Troubleshooting any challenges and streamlining testing procedures.
Close collaboration with different departments (e.g. Engineering, Design, Process).
Root cause analysis for test results.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering/automation or relevant experience
5 years experience in testing environment of (chemical) process equipment
Familiar with control system hardware and software (PLCs, DCS, SCADA).
LabView experience.
Experience with common Project Management tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and a curious, creative approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
High flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving project need.

Develop and maintain quality-controlled processes/SOPs
Leverage DBS as appropriate
Upgrade support to customer and field engineer, travel as needed – 10-15%.

Who you are
High level of technical knowledge on Bioprocess standard & custom hardware/software
Lead system designer experience and experience with electrical and automation design
Strong focus on customer, quality and meeting customer needs in a global environment
Demonstration of innovation and adaptability to further advance business operations and customer experience
Communicates effectively in Swedish and in English at all levels of the organization. Expresses ideas clearly and simply both verbally and in writing. Promotes timely, ongoing flow of information to others. Communicates and listens effectively to develop and maintain key business relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.), e-mail, web browsers and spreadsheet software
Desirable: Prior knowledge with Oracle, Magic, and Qlik tools
Desirable: Knowledge of DBS tools and understanding of Cytiva products

The Service Diagnostics Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for developing our Diagnostic development program for internal and external diagnostics to enable remote troubleshooting and diagnostics. This role will be tightly integrated with both our internal product development teams as well as our field service organization.
This position is part of the Service R&D Organization located in Uppsala, Sweden and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Champions Diagnostics Modelling techniques, gathering voice of the customer information from both Field Service Engineers and Manufacturing Test Technicians
As a key member of Service R&D Digital team, creates and maintains diagnostics methodologies and architectures for new product launches
Incorporates Diagnostics requirements in Product Lifecycle Management processes and documents to ensure that projects are resourced to deliver on Diagnostic requirements
Works with R&D, system engineering, and project design teams at early stages of a project (pre-concept phase) to incorporate design for service and improve diagnostics capability.
Reviews new designs and ECOs for compliance to diagnostics requirements and provides feedback on diagnostic capabilities to system engineers and designers
Work with Domain Engineers and to identify and leverage alerts/fault messages which can serve to better isolate symptoms to root causes and optimize the resolution and detection of problem trends
Works in conjunction with 3rd party suppliers and 3rd party engineering groups to ensure “hooks” are available for diagnostics tools to interrogate and monitor status and fault of OEM modules.
Builds Failure Models (using Designer resources) to load into Diagnostics Tools that produce Fault Tree paths to root cause
Determines service requirements for diagnostics and ease of system troubleshooting on new products during the product development cycle.
Conducts troubleshooting/technical workshops with cross functional teams and collects best practices for service process/troubleshooting improvement.
Improves speed and accuracy for root cause failure determination for installed products
Identifies areas for new Standard Work activity

The essential requirements of the job include:
B.S. or higher degree in a scientific discipline. Training in Engineering or Science – preference to Systems or Electrical engineering
Strong interpersonal skills; effective at collaborating and building consensus
Requires minimum 5+ years of experience working with Product Development project teams, or equivalent experience in product related R&D, Systems or Architecture design, deployment of Diagnostics programs/ tools etc.
Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings and high-level understanding of relevant technologies (electrical, electromechanical etc.)
Experience with executing Fault Tree Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively work with teams in the investigation of real or potential problems and development of action plans to resolve them.
Continuous improvement aptitude
Effective peer communication skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Familiar with diagnostic software applications and tools

Global Service Readiness Engineering is as a team responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of service product features, technical publications, initial training, global parts availability, and service process validation. We are involved in all new hardware/software development projects to ensure that our products meet the desired and required Design for Service level expected from a modern product. Once a new product has been launched, we are also a natural part in the life cycle management process.
What you will do
You will be responsible to support our ongoing development programs for both new and legacy products. You will be a critical team member working cross-functionally in supporting new product development and legacy instrumentation in documentation. To improve standardization and quality compliance you will transfer technical content delivered from the Service Readiness Engineers into our standard formats and lead the release according to our processes. You will also work on our internal improvement initiatives within Global Service Readiness Engineering team.
The position requires communication with several functions in the organization and will be involved in the full lifecycle of the product from definition to verification/validation and product discontinuation support.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Finalize service related documents with content provided by the Service Readiness Engineers
Ensure quality and technical accuracy of content and compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO, GdP, EHS, etc.)
Make updates to documentation that will be approved by relevant stakeholders in Service, R&D, Operations and QA.
Run engineering change orders in collaboration with Service Readiness Engineering Team
Participating in NPD projects with a focus on service documentation
Managing and monitoring all document releases and updates in our several platforms
Drive standardization of our documentation according to field service needs and quality compliance requirements.

What you’ll do
As a result of our growing customer needs to ensure maximum lifecycle utilization of their equipment, we are looking for a Global Services Upgrade Engineer. The Global Services Upgrade Engineer will be responsible for managing custom upgrade orders. This includes reviewing the order, creating part numbers and a build of materials, sourcing the material, engineering the upgrade, and putting instructions together on how to execute the upgrade in the field.
Review customer orders for upgrades and determine whether the upgrade is possible.
Put together a build of materials for each upgrade using Magic and Oracle and sending a quotation to the requester for the upgrade.
Manage the upgrade project through installation.
Maintain appropriate relationships and work with both internal and external suppliers to get pricing and material for each upgrade.
Assemble and quality check each upgrade before sending to the customer.
Write any needed documentation for the field team to execute the upgrade at the customer site.
Handle any customer complaints which come in regarding upgrades delivered.
Work closely with CBS manufacturing and align resources needed to deliver upgrades.
Ensure regular communication to key stakeholders and end users (Service Managers/Field Engineers)
Actively participate in global/regional meetings and annual processes as appropriate
Communicate projects current state and changes/updates to customers and management at global and regional levels as appropriate
Develop and maintain quality-controlled processes/SOPs
Leverage DBS as appropriate
Upgrade support to customer and field engineer, travel as needed – 10-15%.

High level of technical knowledge on Bioprocess standard & custom hardware/software
Lead system designer experience and experience with electrical and automation design

What you’ll do
Develop world-class technical product support to our Field Service teams.
Leverage engineering strategies with focus on design-for-service to develop robust support tools for the Global Field Service team.
Develop robust service tools, documentation, building training programs, and ensuring overall supportability of new product launches to the market.
With a data-based approach, you will monitor KPI trends and work with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements throughout the product life cycle.
Develop, update, and maintain product service documentation.
Author (and verify) technical procedures for field modifications, calibrations, and part replacements.
Own product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability.
Act as a subject matter expert towards our technical support specialists supporting a timely and qualitative response to our field technical teams.
Actively monitor technical escalation trends and collaborate with Life Cycle Management (and other teams) to drive improvements.
Develop expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis.
Regular review of product performance evaluating system design identifying improvement areas. Liaise with Life Cycle Management team driving product improvements, focused on product safety, reliability, and serviceability.
Lead the overall design-for-service effort on new-product-development (NPD) projects.
Responsible for all service deliverables on NPD projects.
Own the spare part strategy closely collaborating with Service Operations teams and other internal teams.
Compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements such as ISO, GMP and FDA. Adhere to Export Control regulations.
Rigorous use of DBS tools applied on a regular basis while coaching and providing mentorship to others.
Collaborate with all stakeholders using DBS tools for ongoing process improvement. Solicit feedback from participants to be used as part of DBS Continuous Process Improvement.



Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Field (Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Associates degree with relevant experience in BioPharma industry); or equivalent of 9 years of experience (with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role).
Excellent troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills. Relevant depth of technical subject-matter-expertise.
Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated track record of strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated hands-on technical domain expertise current on engineering design principles, architectures and advancements in engineering concepts, and technology.

What You'll Do
Global Service Engineering is as a team responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of service product features, technical publications, initial training, global parts availability, and service process validation.
We are involved in all new hardware/software development projects to ensure that our products meet the desired and required Design for Service level expected from a modern product.
Once a new product has been launched, we are also a natural part in the life cycle management process.
We also provide remote and on-site support to our field service engineers when required.
The position requires communication with several functions in the organization and will be involved in the full life cycle of the product from definition to verification/validation and installed base support.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Developing, updating and maintaining our internal and external product documentation
• Defining procedures for field modifications, calibrations, and part replacements
• Owning product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnosis
• Setting FRU (spare part) strategies and interfacing with external organizations such as Service Operations
• Providing high quality service deliverables within the scope of New Product Introduction projects and Product Care activities
• Driving technical solutions and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology
• Maintaining effective quality systems compliant with Cytiva Quality policies and Six Sigma standards

As a Service Engineering Specialist for our Immuno Diagnostics Division (IDD), you will support our global Field Service Engineers (FSEs) to do their jobs to the best of their ability by training them on our Phadia Laboratory Systems products and providing technical expertise in critical customer situations. You will also work closely with our Manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure that any new products being developed are “Designed for Serviceability”, ensuring that once our products are installed on customer sites, their design is such that they can be easily serviced and maintained by our FSEs. You will also hold global responsibility for all Technical Service documentation, training and spare parts management for our Phadia Laboratory Systems products, along with the other members of the team.
Although you will be based at our Uppsala site in Sweden for the majority of your time, you will support colleagues and customers globally and may be required to travel internationally on occasion.

What will you do?
Provide top-class 3rd line support to our commercial organizations
Ensure that service-related functionality is taken into account and prioritized in new product development and Product Care activities
Support launch projects and transition to manufacturing by driving design for serviceability
Sustain continuous alignment with Sales, Global Marketing, RA/QA and R&D around customer issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Interface and build a good working relationship with instrument suppliers
Work with technical writers to ensure that service documentation, service processes and service training are always up-to-date, including:
Training programs for each instrument line including F2F and self-study (on-line)
Spare Parts Management
Service bulletins, Service Manual, Troubleshooting Guides, Check Lists
Customer support process from customer contact to CAPA process
Support tools (Service tools & software)

Who we are looking for: (experience, skills & abilities)
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline) or equivalent experience
Several years’ experience in Field Service Engineering, Technical Support or similar
Experience working with Invitro Diagnostics (IVD) instruments, either in an Engineering capacity, or gained during time spent working in a lab in a scientific or technical role
Some experience in IVD product development in a regulated environment, preferably development of instruments is an advantage
A genuine interest in technology
Committed to excellent customer service and high customer satisfaction
Comfortable working in a global capacity with individuals from different countries and cultures
Confident presentation skills as service/customer training and presenting at internal/external meetings is part of the job
Fluent in English, Swedish an advantage (but not essential)
Driving Licence preferred (but not essential)

What You'll Do
You will be part of the Nordic field service team with 13 engineers across Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for servicing and qualifying our customer’s equipment consisting of biopharma equipment such as liquid chromatography systems (ÄKTA process, ÄKTA avant etc) and SPR systems (Biacore). You will be working in laboratories and pharmaceutical production plants on customer sites. You will be expected to take part in our 24/7 stand-by team.
This is a field based role with extensive travelling within Nordics and Baltics. You will serve customers across the region but with special focus to serve our customers in Lithuania. You will be responsible for performance of customer visits, including customer coordination, travel planning and ordering spare parts. Typical tasks would be:
Plan & perform preventive maintenance, repair and installation visits
Plan & perform qualifications (IQ/OQ)
Promptly complete and return relevant paperwork (and electronic evidence) associated

Who you are
Qualifications:
Relevant technical or scientific education or experience
Good computer skills
Fluent in Swedish or Finnish, both oral and written
English as working language
Good communication and social skills
Effective organizational and administrative skills
Valid driving licence
Ability to travel extensively within Nordics and Baltics
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics
Experience of ÄKTA, UNICORN or Biacore products
Experience in troubleshooting mechanics, electronics, software/computers/networks or fluid handling systems
Experience of IQ/OQ
Lithuanian as working language
Knowledge of laboratory environment
