VP Sales Data and Services Sweden
About this role:
The purpose of the role is to drive innovation around satellite data and lead global sales growth of our new geospatial and telecommunications powered Data and Services business line. The role will involve essential travel on occasions to attend events, conferences and building relationships with customers. We are open to hybrid working for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic planning for business development and sales (short and long term) • Securing financial targets and KPIs
• Plan and enable the productivity of the dept. resource with appropriate structure, skills and capability to meet current and planned business needs • Pro-actively engage and communicate across the business to enable all parts of the AAC Clyde Space Group to achieve success
• Lead the improvement and delivery of the data sales, licensing and bid processes through effective management and operations of the team • Responsible for the team’s staffing decisions and development through the employment lifecycle • Provide internal support in the areas of strategy, analysis, and best practices to other senior managers and directors
• Contribute to the development of accurate and complete opportunity forecasting to the wider AAC Clyde Space group for this business unit
• Drive lessons learned initiatives to continually improve pursuit strategies • Support the wider team/company as required - with a specialism in geospatial data and services, user needs and solutions.
• Identify and develop target customers and sales opportunities, including the generation of new data or service propositions either directly or with strategic partners
• Translate market intelligence, customer feedback and identified user needs into clear, tailored value propositions and/or technical specifications for current and future Data and Services
• Capture customer requirements, consider current AAC Clyde Space geospatial data/service capabilities, and identify where development is needed from technical teams • Work with the marketing team to drive lead generation, contributing to the development of marketing campaigns and materials for the team and the wider AAC Clyde Space Group.
• Identify and attend appropriate conferences, industry events, and customer visits Skills required:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded FPGA engineer to contribute to our design of state-of-the-art satellite subsystems, with an emphasis on electronics and software engineering. The candidate should show strong aptitude, share our enthusiasm for systems engineering for space applications. This is a full-time role for an experienced FPGA developer, who can work to deliver our next range of subsystems for satellite projects.
Responsibilities will include:
· Design of our on-board computer system-on-chip FPGA designs for space applications
· Architectural design and review of avionics and FPGA designs
· Be part of testing together with software or electronics team
· To improve current designs and undertake design reviews with the rest of the team
· To engage with stakeholders (technicians, engineers and clients) to ensure correct functionality, operation, manufacture and integration of our systems
· Generation and maintenance of technical design documentation including requirements capture, technical descriptions and user manuals
Skills required:
· Candidate should be educated to at least Bachelor’s degree in system on chip, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

About this role:
The Area Sales Manager (Space Products) will work with our customers and operational delivery teams to sell AAC Clyde Space products and subsystems, with a focus on the products produced at our Uppsala site. The sales process often means working a lot with customers and internal teams to find a great solution, and we have several repeat customers to build and maintain relationships with.
The role will have occasional travel and we are open to hybrid working given the nature of the role.
You will be core to our established Business Development team, playing a key role in our strategic plans to help bring Space down to Earth in line with our vision.

We are looking for a Space Systems and Quality Assurance Engineer colleague to support an increased customer demand and growing order book. This is a full-time role for an experienced engineer who can work to ensure our quality in the next generation of products and satellite projects.
Responsibilities will include:
· Perform role of quality assurance for spacecraft missions, co-ordinating inputs from other engineering disciplines
· Support and drive the Non Conformance and Change processes
· Support continuous quality improvement for the various parts of the business
· Support assembly, integration and test, during integration of spacecraft, to ensure requirements are met and any non-conformances are assessed
· Support customer/supplier discussions related to Product and Quality Assurance
Skills required:
A successful candidate will have relevant experience in several of the following areas:
· Relevant degree or equivalent work experience
· Experience working as a quality assurance with high reliability electronics hardware (MIL/Space)
· Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues to elicit requirements and manage expectations.
· The ability to work to meet tight deadlines and progress several different projects in parallel.
· Excellent technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER – UPPSALA
About this Technical Project Manger role:
The Project Manager will be expected to lead their allocated projects throughout the project lifecycle delivering each successfully against objectives in terms of technical requirements, budgets, and schedule.
Principle responsibilities will include customer liaison, planning project delivery, schedule management including identification of critical path activities, active risk management, management of project teams, sub-contractors and suppliers, managing project budgets in terms of cost and revenue and maintaining accurate forecasts.
The objective of the project manager is to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, within the technical specifications and to the customer’s complete satisfaction. Demonstrable project management competence is essential.
The Project Manager will be expected to maintain an active personal development plan and contribution to the company continuous improvement plan.


Responsibilities will include:
Deliver the company’s projects allocated to budget, schedule and quality constraints.
Ownership of the Project Management work-package of multiple development / and or production projects: planning, identifying and progressing critical paths, maintaining accurate forecasts and managing risks.
Maintain accurate project forecasts and delivery of project revenue and profit expectations.
Negotiate specific project requirements with customers and manage necessary variations.
Actively manage risk, issue, and action registers, and project history logs.

Solid understanding of hardware/software product life cycle as appropriate to specialisation.
Use of suitable tools such as Microsoft Project to schedule, track, and measure project status and performance.
Definition, allocation, communication, and prioritisation of tasks and priorities, within a multi-disciplined engineering and manufacturing team.
Ability to work well in an engineering development team.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective decision-making.
Able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers to elicit requirements and manage expectations.
Strong leadership and negotiating skills for managing all key stakeholders including internal teams, supply-chain, customers, and other key external stakeholders.

ELECTRONICS team lead TO OUR TEAM IN UPPSALA, SWEDEN
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically minded electronics team lead to lead our electronics team that design of state-of-the-art satellite subsystems, with an emphasis on analogue and digital electronics. The candidate should show strong aptitude, share our enthusiasm for electronics and be a strong team player.
Responsibilities will include:
Management and leadership of the electronics team
Attendance at Bi-Weekly planning meeting held by Operations with Project managers
Lead the electronics team and plan the work for the resources within the team

You will be working with the design and development of our PC-based control and data analyzing software for our radioxenon detection systems. This includes the development of new functionality as well as maintaining existing. The work is done in close cooperation with FOI (Swedish Defence Research Agency) and our customers and involves responsibility over the entire life cycle and covers specification, implementation and documentation as well as project management.
YOUR PROFILE
We think that you have a Master´s degree in Software Engineering, or similar, and have at least five years of industrial experience from embedded systems working with C++, C# and predominantly in MS Windows, but also in Linux environment. You should also have experience of structured SW development methods and tools. We are a small organization, so you need to have a general knowledge of electronics HW and computer HW to fit in with the team. If you, in addition to that, have an interest in Science and Technology and feel comfortable in research environments it is a bonus.

About this role
The Project Manager will be expected to lead their allocated projects throughout the project lifecycle delivering each successfully against objectives in terms of technical requirements, budgets and schedule.

We are looking for an additional Software Developer colleague to our Uppsala team.
In order to support an increased customer demand and growing order book we need to extend the Software team. This is a full-time role for an experienced software developer with a background within Space Projects or a similar with good insights in product development. The focus of the Uppsala team is to design, develop, manufacture, deliver and commission our next range of satellite equipment projects. About this role
The Project Manager will be expected to lead their allocated projects throughout the project lifecycle delivering each successfully against objectives in terms of technical requirements, budgets and schedule.

We are looking for a Mechanical engineer with industrial experience in mechanical development engineering, though applications from outside these areas are encouraged if the candidate can demonstrate an applicable skill set or experience. About this role:
The Director of Operations is accountable for the operational performance of the business; delivering the financial plan; shaping and executing company strategy as well as developing the team and the site to meet future growth plans. Furthermore, the role will provide people leadership and act as Company Representative to internal and external stakeholders.
The site operations include both delivery of customer projects based on our cutting-edge product portfolio and the development of new technologies as well as manufacturing of satellites and products and its supporting processes.
The Director will continue to grow the highly skilled team currently consisting of 30 persons with various engineering competencies to further deliver a revenue growth that last year exceeded 40%.
Responsibilities will include:
· Provide leadership of the site including load and capacity and organisational structure
· Accountable for all operational performance metrics (safety, quality, cost, people and delivery)
· Deliver the financial plan
· Company representative to external stakeholders and customers
· Setting strategic direction for the site
Skills Required:
· Financial and commercial acumen
· KPI Setting, delivery and management
· Ability to motivate the team and achieves goals through the work of others
· Professionalism and strong work ethic
· People Leadership skills
· Experience in product and production systems for space or other industrial applications

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER TO OUR TEAM IN UPPSALA, SWEDEN
We are looking for an additional Software Developer colleague to our Uppsala team.
In order to support an increased customer demand and growing order book we need to extend the Software team. This is a full-time role for an experienced software developer with a background within Space Projects or a similar with good insights in product development. The focus of the Uppsala team is to design, develop, manufacture, deliver and commission our next range of satellite equipment projects. In this role you will be expecting to contribute to the high-level design and architecture of the systems under development as well as implementation and test.
You will be expected to work within projects of different sizes in cooperation with our other subsidiaries. Travel may be needed occasionally.
The Uppsala office currently consists of around 30 skilled staff, here you can expect to work in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities will include:
· Contribute to high level design and architecture of software systems
· Design and implement new application features using C/C++
· Using scripting for test and implementation (eg Make, Bash, Python)
· Investigate and solve bugs
· BSP adaptations
· Deploying applications on RTEMS and Linux
· Using git and Jenkins
Essential skills:
· Experience of engineering development projects
· Experience working with automation and CI
· Experience of agile methodologies for software development
· Experience with embedded software and Real-time operating systems
Skills desirable:
· Good understanding of systems and mission requirements
· Fluent in English, written and spoken
· Ability to work independently and make decisive decisions, ability to support junior team members
· Knowledge of environmental testing and ESA quality management is a bonus
