We are looking for an artist to join our rawrsome little indiegame studio in Uppsala, Sweden!

Dinomite Games is a small studio with a huge love for games. We're focusing a lot on team contribution. Everyone's thoughts and insights are important and taken in consideration, as we think it benefits both the game and the studio. One of our ground pillars in the studio is that we want everyone to feel safe and be able to be themselves in every way - every day! Everyone in our studio is crucial for our goal - making the best games ever!

As an artist in our studio, you’ll be working mostly with environment-art and design but also with icons and UI elements. Since our game Go Fight Fantastic! is hand drawn you’ll be drawing both unique sections of the game world and making/using pre-drawn assets to speed up the workflow. It’s very important for us that you’re able to mimic our art style, so the art of the game feels cohesive!




We’re looking for someone who…

- is experienced in Photoshop or similar software.
- can create and emulate different kinds of art styles.
- is able work both independently, managing their own tasks and work together as a team.
- is creative and enjoys creating beautiful and interesting environments.
- can create a broad range of environment elements. Everything from nature to houses and fun alien tech.
- is passionate about games and indie development.
- is experienced in creating UI-elements and icons.




Bonus:

- Experience in typography
- Experience in VFX and animation
- Experience in 3D software
- Experience in game development and Unity workflows






Practical information?


Our studio consists of seven people and a dog: Lina (art director), Johan (technical director), Melanie (2D-animation), David (2D-artist), Joakim (game designer), Oskar (programmer), Sandra (community manager) and Bowie (dog/captain).

Positions are full time, 40 hours a week with the possibility for flex hours where you have the option to work a couple of days a week from home.

We are looking for an artist to join our rawrsome little indiegame studio in Uppsala, Sweden!

As an artist in our studio, you’ll be working mostly with characters and design but also with drawing 2D-environment art. Since our game Go Fight Fantastic! is hand drawn you’ll be creating fun and interesting characters, NPCs, and enemies - making meshes, skinning and rigging, so they’re ready for animation. It’s very important for us that you’re able to take a character concept and create a 3D character from it in a style that makes the art feels cohesive with the rest of the game!



We’re looking for someone who…

- is experienced in 3D software such as Maya, Max or Blender.
- is experienced in Photoshop or similar software.
- is able work both independently, managing their own tasks and work together as a team.
- is creative and enjoys creating fun and interesting characters.
- can create environment elements and help out with different parts of the game outside of 3D characters.
- is passionate about games and indie development.

Job Description
You will be responsible for the IT infrastructure and hardware management for Publishing and studios, with the ability to prioritize alongside the business strategy. You are skilled in IT infrastructure technology, such as networking, server maintenance, IT Security, Active Directory administration and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and service minded approach.
Responsibilities
Define the ongoing hardware and IT infrastructure maintenance requirements together with Publishing and Studio Leadership
IT Security Management: creating and maintaining a safe and compliant infrastructure
IT support and troubleshooting hardware and software, including setting up an efficient workflow, setting up new employees' hardware and software, Active Directory and Office 365 management, support and help employees with IT related problems
Device/Asset management: buying, setting up and tracking all hardware
Game Development support: build servers, platform and more
Support our websites and digital workspaces

Qualifications and Requirements
+5 years IT practical experience within IT infrastructure and network
Project management and/or management experience
Proficient in Active Directory and Network infrastructure protocols
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

While not required, we’re especially interested in candidates with
A genuine interest in gaming
Experience working in the video game industry to understand both standard hardware and infrastructure set up for platforms such as Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo etc
Experience working with versioning software, especially Perforce
Experience in working with development kit hardware
Experience from different operating systems (MacOS, Windows 10/11, Linux, iOS and Android)

Practical:
Our growing group of over 30 employees has been up and running for little over a year, meaning any candidate should relish the thought of working in a start-up environment created by experienced professionals.
The position will initially be partially from Uppsala and either remote or at our offices on Wallingatan in Stockholm.
