Responsibilities
Architect and implement features in C/C++, that is CPU, GPU and memory efficient, with an eye to a quality end-user experience
Develop, extend and debug features related to rendering/graphics while respecting platform and design constraints
Collaborate well with programmers and other disciplines involved in the day to day work
Review code written by programmers across the studio and collaborate with them to improve code quality
If required, debug, modify, extend or use the tools pipeline as necessary
Construct solutions for unforeseen design problems in a timely manner
Proactively provides suggestions on how to utilize new technologies and tools and implement them into our workflow

Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in rendering/graphics development, preferably for games
Demonstrate and apply strong problem-solving and debugging skills in C++
Write clean, professional, well commented, and maintainable code
Show good knowledge of linear algebra
Preferably knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan and/or Metal
Are independent and self propelled with little need for supervision
Continuously look for ways to improving processes and achieve results. Isn’t satisfied with the status quo. Come up with solutions to problems or challenges.

Create game environment assets: Build, model and texture a variety of environments, architecture, and props according to concepts, references and art direction given to you.
Create realistic PBR textures and materials to compliment the games art direction.
Use existing assets and content to populate the game world in a believable and visually appealing way.
Build the environments according to Level design requirements and blockouts, bearing gameplay constraints such as traversal and metrics in mind.
Work alongside your senior colleagues, art director and leads to continually revise game environments and refine visual quality, storytelling, and drama.
Take relevant memory and performance restrictions into consideration.

Qualifications
A strong portfolio focused on environment art
Candidate should have experience working within a development team, with ideally one full production cycle under their belt. Exceptional candidates with less experience may also be taken into consideration.


Have strong 3d modeling and texturing skills
Have knowledge of PBR systems with a focus on material definition, readability, and convincing surface detail
Have proven experience with creating game ready assets in at least one major modelling package, taking them through the modeling and baking pipeline, ready to be presented in engine.
Have solid understanding of other industry standard tools such as Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Zbrush.
Experience with game level production, with a strong focus on layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.

Responsibilities
Create and texture highly detailed 3D character models for AAA games
Work directly with the Art Director, Lead Character Artist and Concept team in the creation of character assets.
Collaborate with other disciplines such as tech art, animation and design to understand gameplay requirements, technological issues and how they relate to the character art and implementation
Interface with freelance artists and art outsourcers to help convey character art direction as needed
Serve as mentor for junior level character artists
Write and maintain tools, workflow, and pipeline documentation.
Work with Character artists to identify workflows. Where possible investigate and support the development of these tools alongside other member of the engine team.
Candidates are half-artist and half-programmer, with enough programming and math experience to write clean code, but with an artist’s eye for visual polish.
Create samples, examples, and prototypes

Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in video games and shipped at least 2 AAA title as a Senior Character Artist
Advanced knowledge in Maya, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter and Photoshop
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortable filling details where concepts may be vague
Strong understanding of human anatomy, animal anatomy, facial anatomy and how it applies to facial animation, etc.
Experienced with PBR engines, for example Unreal, idTech, or CryEngine
Excellent follow-through and takes initiative to solve problems
Team player with a strong work ethic and a collaborative attitude
Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities
Assist the Art Director in executing the creative vision in relation to the project’s environment art, assuming creative ownership when delegated by Art Director.
Ensure art pipelines & standard building-processes are clearly defined for all Environment art.
Carry out environment art reviews and provide feedback to the team, ensuring their artwork meets the high quality defined by the visual target.
Work with production on setting broad targets for the team, as well as individual targets for each team member. Delegate responsibility accordingly.
Support & maintain technical standards as determined by and/or in collaboration with the Lead Tech Artist.
Act as the primary point of contact for outsourcing/contracted environment artists.
Support your team members' development and performance, through continuous feedback as well as the annual performance review.

Qualifications
Proven experience within a lead role throughout a whole AAA development cycle, successfully leading others towards a common goal.
A strong portfolio covering all aspects of environment art
Expert 3d modeling and texturing skills
A knowledge of PBR systems with a focus on material definition, readability, and convincing surface detail
Experience with game level production, with a heavy focus on layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
A track record of exploring new trends and innovations within the discipline of environment art and applying them to work.
Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive lighting initiatives within the lighting team and collaborate with other departments to develop and implement high quality and performant content.
Participate in developing standards and techniques for both gameplay and cinematic lighting.
Troubleshoot creative and technical issues related to lighting as they arise. Debug and fix lighting bugs and communicate/document solutions.
Lighting reviews
Ensure high quality lighting is made correctly, visually and technically.
Own and define ways to perform WIP reviews and signoff.
Standards
Responsible for ensuring art pipelines and workflow processes are clearly defined and followed for all lighting work.
Create, communicate, and follow up on technical standards in collaboration with the programmer and technical leads.
R&D
Participate in developing standards and techniques for both gameplay and cinematic lighting.
Investigate new industry technology and trends to improve the project's visual quality and efficiency.
Assist with look development.
Act as the primary point of contact for outsourcing/contracted lighting artists.

Qualifications
Have extensive experience from a leading role in a AAA game development studio.
Have participated in and led (at least some pieces of) a whole AAA game development cycle.
Have extensive experience within the field of lighting and colour theory.
In-depth knowledge of colour grading, HDR, and other post process effects
Expert skills within applicable software, procedures, and methodology.

Develop, extend and debug AI, tools, physics, animation, rendering, UI and gameplay code while respecting platform and design constraints, with focus on your area of expertise.
Collaborate well with programmers and other disciplines involved in the day to day work.
Review code written by programmers across the studio and collaborate with them to improve code quality.
Help mentoring less experienced team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

3D modeling of assets including, but not limited to, creation of characters, buildings, props and vegetation assets
Close collaboration with Art Director, Game Director, Technical Artist and Concept Artist to maintain a coherent vision of the game visuals
Participate in the constant improvement of asset production methods and techniques
Deliver high quality work, within design constraints, in a timely manner over an extended period of time


Requirements

You have 3+ years of experience in AAA or mobile games development
Proven ability to closely adapt a specific art style and create models from concept art
Able to reach good balance between composition, shape, color and detail
Very good knowledge of job-related software – Maia, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Photoshop
Experience with asset creation workflows and pipelines
Strong skills in texturing and painting
Experience with Substance Designer / Painter is a plus
Skills in Animation and/or rigging are a plus
You’re solutions oriented with great problem solving skills
Organized and have excellent time management skills
Fluent in English in speech and writing

Responsibilities

Develop gameplay related functionality (controls, camera movement, game rules, etcetera)
Identify and implement platform specific optimizations to relevant gameplay systems

Work closely with designers, artists, and animators to bring the vision of the game to life

Requirements
