The Gearbox Technician, together with the Gearbox Specialist, will be the direct interface to the Drivetrain and Tower Service Competence Centre at HQ. The Gearbox Technician, in cooperation with the Gearbox Specialist, will monitor and assess the fleet condition through the available analytical data and endoscopy reports, suggesting potential improvements to lengthen the lifetime of the Drivetrains within the fleet as well as predicting component issues at an early stage in order to provide recommendations for corrective measures accordingly.
Provide Specialist support to the Local Operations and Account Management teams during client meetings where Drivetrain issues are being discussed.


YOUR TASKS
Carry out gearbox and main bearing endoscopies e.g. Checking the gearbox condition for metal particles detected in the filter
Handling of drivetrain related ServiceNow tickets e.g. Checking the gearbox for oil leakage and recommending from office to change the air breather
Handling of CMS Event reports/actions e.g. checking at field for fault findings and Recommending necessary preventive actions for vibration CMS alarm on the GBX LSS bearing.
Point of contact for drivetrain related issues e.g. Providing gearbox exchange recommendation for increasing vibration on gear meshing
Evaluate endoscopy reports e.g. Evaluating the bearing conditions for micro pitting
Interface to HQ on drivetrain issues e.g. Endoscope the gearbox for end of warranty and following up for claims and root cause analysis with HQ.
Support budget process by delivering comprehensive exchange recommendations e.g. Accessing the condition monitoring data to predict the future planet bearing failures
Monitor Fleet Drivetrain condition e.g. monitoring the drive train conditions and identifying a sick turbine for damaged bearing
Operational support on drivetrain topics incl. customer meeting participation e.g. Query from customer for a damaged gear tooth in the gearbox
Up -tower repairs e.g. Replacing damaged HSS bearings at up tower with special tools
Analyzing available vibration data from multiple systems e.g. Checking the vibration data for abnormal noise observed from the drive train at the field
Training Technicians on drivetrain repairs and endoscopies e.g. accompany the technician during HSS bearing repair and providing on the job training
Handling of Oil Analysis (results) e.g. Checking the gearbox for high copper content in the oil sample and recommending preventive actions.
Handling of various condition monitoring tools e.g. Co-relate the vibration and PPP data for abnormal drive train movement



YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experienced in mechanical measurement methods
Strong knowledge on Mechanical drawings
Knowledge of the standards and specifications required in Gearbox manufacturing
Wind Industry experience preferred but not essential
Vibration analysis certification according to ISO 18436-2
Comprehensive knowledge of engineering mechanics.
Several years’ experience with working on Gearboxes
Experience in technical report writing and report assessment.
Experience in customer facing situations
Must be Health and Safety aware
Able to work at heights
Strong communication skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Strong customer focus
Willing to travel on regular basis, including weeks away from home.

The Field Support Technician is a position based close too or inside the wind farms of the Service Areas in the Nordic Region. The purpose of this position is to deliver on site technical support as well as implementing technical improvements for the local field operations in the Nordic Region. Being responsible for wind turbine availability means physically troubleshooting turbines with low availability on site in various wind farms as well as analyzing data and other information to be able to create and support implementing action plans that will increase availability in the fleet. These include but are not limited to: on site performance analysis, on site actin plan implementation, ServiceNow ticket handling, analyzing data, analyzing reports, close cooperation with Technicians and Back Office staff, performing on the job demonstrations, on site single turbine improvements on problem turbines, on site software and hardware updates, on line and on phone technical support, creating reports on turbine or turbine components and also parameter disabling and alarm change handling when necessary. The Field Support Technician should also go to site in case special works are being performed to physically support the local technicians.

Job description
We at Nordex are offering an exciting role as Service Account Manager for the Nordic Region. This role gives the opportunity to join an exciting company whose core business will be part of sustaining the future for our planet and working towards slowing climate change.
As an Account Manager in Nordex you would be mainly responsible for ensuring a good relationship with our existing customers by ensuring they get the best service possible from Nordex. Organize frequent and special customer meetings
Negotiations of renewals of service agreements of existing wind farms
Actively work for long-term cooperation with the customer and ensure customer satisfaction. Build up, develop and maintain the relationship.
Manage customer complaints to prevent potential contractual issues
Manage potential warranty and end of contracts claims of customer
Cooperate and build relationship with other operative functions in Service
Support the regional operative functions with commercial customer complaints




Career / Job experience
• Work experience from a sales or financial position
• Experienced in dealing with internal stakeholders and customers
• Knowledge in the renewable energy sector is an advantage

Education and qualification
• Bachelor degree (e.g. Business administration or technical degree) or equivalent job experience

As a working student in the Account Management team, assisting the Nordic region, you will support our Account Managers with designated commercial topics such as quotation & order administration, invoicing preparation, handling customer questions & requests and other administrative tasks. As a working student at Nordex Acciona, you will be able to put theory into practice while continuing with your studies. The working week is normally an average of 20 working hours and is paid by the hours performed. The Field Support Technician is a position based close too or inside the wind farms of the Service Areas in the Nordic Region. The purpose of this position is to deliver on site technical support as well as implementing technical improvements for the local field operations in the Nordic Region. Being responsible for wind turbine availability means physically troubleshooting turbines with low availability on site in various wind farms as well as analyzing data and other information to be able to create and support implementing action plans that will increase availability in the fleet. The Materials Coordinator position is in the Nordic Regional Spare Parts Management (SPM) department who are responsible for the Regional spare parts stock, ensuring all material requirements for the operational wind farms are met. The material coordinator reports to the regional material manager but works closely together with many different departments mainly within Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Addition to this the work consists of managing stock levels to meet demands and monitoring material movements. This to ensure so that correct levels of stock are available at the service points, keeping the operational costs as efficient as possible. One key function the material coordinator has is to highlight shortages and potential critical situation to the regional service team, also solve problems as they occur.

As a Service Technician in Nysäter Windfarm you will work in a team of around 15 technicians and your main responsibilities are fault clearance and maintenance of the turbines. The main tasks conclude:
Simple repairs of turbines and fault-finding
Complex repair processes in collaboration with technical support
Planned maintenance/inspection activities (sometimes with subcontractors)
Completing and archiving service and work reports in company database
Active contribution to safety awareness and improvements



Requirements
The requirements for the position are:
Electrical and/or Mechanical education on vocational or higher level
Minimum of three years of hydraulic, electrical or mechanical experience

Additional Information
