Career / Job experience
Experience as a Materials Coordinator/Planner or similar role is highly advantage, but not a requirement.

Studies in university or similar.


Education and qualification
Preferably studies; supply chain, logistics or related.
Technical Knowledge (electrical or Mechanical) is an advantage.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Northern Europe Legal team. The team consists of four lawyers, two based in Manchester, one in Dublin, one in Helsinki and one in Uppsala.

The position on offer is based in Uppsala, but is envisaged that frequent travel will be required within Europe, especially to Hamburg. Within your function as Legal Counsel, you will report to the Director Legal Northern Europe who is located in the UK and who reports directly to the VP Legal Europe who is based in Hamburg.

The tasks and responsibilities of a Legal Counsel comprise, in particular
Drafting and negotiation of complex supply and installation and/or turnkey agreements and associated service & maintenance agreements;
Drafting and negotiation of purchasing agreements with suppliers of the Nordex Group;
Claims handling with customers and suppliers, in particular in respect to warranty claims (including management of external law firms, where required);
Advising on corporate matters and corporate house-keeping;
Ad hoc advice in respect of other agreements related to the Nordex Group’s activities, e.g. lease agreements, technology agreements etc.;
Preparing standard forms and templates, as well as providing legal in-house training.


Job Requirements
Do you have the following qualifications, skills and interests? We would like to get to know you!

Excellent academic qualification and admission to practice law in an EU jurisdiction, ideally Swedish or Finnish law qualified;
Ideally 3 years’ experience in private practice or in-house. Experience in the construction and engineering or energy industries is of advantage;

Main Responsibilities:

To work successfully as a PM at Nordex you would need to meet the following requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing and plant engineering industry. Experience from the wind energy sector or in general energy sectors is considered an advantage
Experience in project management including full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen
Technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar discipline
HSE awareness that shows in your daily approach to your role
Excellent English language skills that allow you to communicate effectively in both writing and in meetings / calls. Good command of Swedish is a benefit

Key accountabilities
Provide finance and commercial support to the Senior Finance Manager & Office Manager and other key functions.
Manage booking of incoming invoices and aged debts profiling. Maintain relationships with external suppliers.

Following up on invoices (AP & AR).
Coordinate vendors’ payments process and provide support to Nordex Treasury department.

The job position requires basic accounting experience, preferably in an international environment. The plan is to train the Finance Assistant and over time more advanced financial tasks will be added.
Education and qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
Academic ability as well as strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
Being prepared to undertake routine tasks as well as to manage tasks that are more advanced, after introduction/training by the Senior Finance Manager & Office Manager.
Good communication and negotiation skills; being highly motivated and business-oriented.
Comfortable to work independently within a matrix based organisation - direction will come from both the local managers and the finance and accounting departments in Germany.
Knowledge of both Swedish and IFRS accounting standards.

Working as part of the Nordic Region Service Team, the Service Site Manager shall be responsible for the daily operations; planning and coordinating the repairs and maintenance of the wind turbines in his/her area. Experience from the wind energy sector or in general energy sectors is considered an advantage
Experience in project management including full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen
Technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar discipline

Key accountabilities
Full responsibility for the transport of wind turbine components to constructions sites for all assigned projects within the Nordic Region: Ensure that transport takes place with highest focus on safety whilst also on time, within budget and components are delivered to site damage free.
Budgeting, planning, coordination and controlling Logistic operations of wind turbines from supply points to construction sites
Coordination of transports together with the different internal and external production facilities, the construction sites, the contracted transport providers and any other relevant stakeholder
Support in sourcing Logistics services in country of destination: Port operations in port of entry and final run transports to construction sites
Active participation in internal improvement programs
Internal and external communication with all relevant stakeholders
Identification, tracking and reporting of transport risks
Investigate and close out quality issues relating to project specific transports
Suporting Transport Crane & Installation Sourcing teams to identify contractors in new and existing countries of destination, supporting with QHSE audits and setting up frame agreements as required.


Job requirements
Several years of professional experience in the field of Logistics / Heavy transports
Familiar will local regulations in Nordic countries with regards to normal and abnormal transports
Commercial management, experience in developing Logistics Frame Agreements.
Experience of managing off-site road modifications relating to abnormal load deliveries is a plus, coordinating with road authorities and contractors is a plus
Experience in the wind industry is a plus
Experience in identifying and developing suppliers in new regions: proactively working with suppliers to ensure highest levels of safety and quality.


Education and qualification
Higher education diploma, preferably in Logistics and/or Transport
Good computer skills are required, especially MS Office, MS Project & SAP
Fluent in English is a must, a Nordic language would be advantageous.

Document control of all Health, Safety and Environment documents for sub-contractors and foreign Nordex workers; (including all corporate registration and insurance documentation and individual registrations and certificates)
Maintaining the PPE (Personal protective equipment) database including coordination and updates according to Swedish HSE requirements, requesting, scanning and filing required document
Creating Health, Safety and Environment information bulletins and "lessons learned" leaflets
Organizing site ID for all workers and subcontractors
Providing information about Swedish HSE and Contractor’s Liability laws and Nordex requirements to subcontractors and Nordex workers
Helping to introduce the new data management system GoContractor
Support other departments (Project Management, Service, etc.) on Health, Safety and Environment topics

The purpose of this position is to deliver on site/remote technical support as well as implementing SCADA and Park IT related solutions for the local field operations in UK&Ireland; and Nordic Regions. In order to increase data availability and ensure connectivity of the wind frams it will be necessary to troubleshoot IT equipment on site or remotely in various wind farms as well as analyzing data and other information to be able to create and support the implementation of action plans that will increase data availability in the fleet. These include but are not limited to: performance analysis, on site actin plan implementation, analyzing data, analyzing reports, close cooperation with Technicians and Back Office staff, performing on the job demonstrations, on site improvements at problem equipment, on site software and hardware updates, online and over phone technical support, creating reports on turbine or turbine components as well as parameter changes and alarm change handling when necessary.

Main responsibilities
Full responsibility for the transport of wind turbine components to constructions sites for all assigned projects within Norther Europe: Ensure that transport takes place with highest focus on safety whilst also on time, within budget and components are delivered to site damage free.
Budgeting, planning, coordination and controlling Logistic operations of wind turbines from supply points to construction sites
Coordination of transports together with the different internal and external production facilities, the construction sites, the contracted transport providers and any other relevant stakeholder
Support in sourcing Logistics services in country of destination: Port operations in port of entry and final run transports to construction sites
Active participation in internal improvement programs
Internal and external communication with all relevant stakeholders
Identification, tracking and reporting of transport risks
Investigate and close out quality issues relating to project specific transports
Suporting Transport Crane & Installation Sourcing teams to identify contractors in new and existing countries of destination, supporting with QHSE audits and setting up frame agreements as required.



Job experience
Several years of professional experience in the field of Logistics / Supply Chain / Heavy transports throughout Northern and Eastern Europe and familiar will local regulations with regards to normal and abnormal transports
Commercial management, experience in developing Logistics Frame Agreements.
Experience of managing off-site road modifications relating to abnormal load deliveries is a plus, coordinating with road authorities and contractors is a plus
Experience in the wind industry is a plus
Experience in identifying and developing suppliers in new regions: proactively working with suppliers to ensure highest levels of safety and quality.

Main responsibilities
Supporting the project manager with site planning, preparation and execution.
Overseeing and controlling civil and electrical BOP works in anticipation of turbine delivery
Leading the arrival at site, erection and commissioning of the turbines, so that the wind farm can be handed over to the customer and Nordex Service team safely, on-time, and to excellent quality.
Managing all aspects of safety and environmental requirements at the wind farm site.
Building a strong relationship with the customer, other partners and stakeholders at the wind farm site
Managing all Nordex suppliers at the site including erection & transportation companies
Creating a successful and enjoyable team - with team members drawn from various support departments, including erection supervisors and commissioning engineers, and local service engineers.
Provide the Project Manager with all necessary reporting and support. This will include: reporting of progress; support for claims for extension of time and/or costs to our customers and suppliers; feedback of data on the installed equipment; and formal feedback on quality issues at site
Work within Nordex processes to manage and report progress on the project. Provide constructive suggestions on how the process can be improved and work on specific process improvement actions as part of the Nordex UK, and Nordex group Project Management teams.

The Northern Europe Legal team’s focus is on the preparation and negotiation of complex agreements for the supply of wind turbines and ancillary works for wind farms, including associated maintenance agreements, sub-contracts, financing and collateral instruments. The region Northern Europe currently comprises mainly the jurisdictions Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, and the UK.
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Northern Europe Legal team. The team consists of four lawyers, two based in Manchester, one in Dublin and one in Helsinki.
The position on offer is based in Uppsala, but is envisaged that frequent travel will be required to Helsinki and Hamburg. Within your function as Legal Counsel, you will report to the Lead Counsel Northern Europe who is located in the UK and who reports directly to the Head of Legal Europe who is based in Hamburg.
The tasks and responsibilities of a Legal Counsel comprise, in particular:
Drafting and negotiation of complex supply and installation and/or turnkey agreements and associated service & maintenance agreements;
Drafting and negotiation of purchasing agreements with suppliers of the Nordex Group;
Claims handling with customers and suppliers, in particular in respect to warranty claims (including management of external law firms, where required);
Advising on corporate matters and corporate house-keeping;
Ad hoc advice in respect of other agreements related to the Nordex Group’s activities, e.g. lease agreements, technology agreements etc.;
Preparing standard forms and templates, as well as providing legal in-house training.



Job requirements
Do you have the following qualifications, skills and interests? We would like to get to know you!
Excellent academic qualification and admission to practice law in an EU jurisdiction, ideally Swedish or Finnish law qualified;
Ideally 3 years’ experience in private practice or in-house. Experience in the construction and engineering or energy industries is of advantage;
Knowledge of concepts in an EPC contract, with ideally some experience with FIDIC as well as AB99, AB04/ABT06 and/or YSE1998;
Knowledge of corporate law, particularly that of one or more jurisdictions within the region Northern Europe;
Ability to identify and manage complex legal issues whilst maintaining commercial focus in the execution and accomplishment of the relevant transactions;
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, organisation, planning and presentation skills are essential;
Excellent English language skills are a must with ideally one other European language, including ability to negotiate contracts in those languages;
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills;
Capable of working both independently and with the support from, and in cooperation with the other members of the Nordex Group Global Legal Department;
Risk and claim management, and insurance know-how are a plus;

We at Nordex Nordics are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team of 15 project management professionals based in Helsinki and Uppsala. In this team you will find support for you in your role from people working with for example logistics, tendering, commercial and administrative topics and our experienced Site Managers.
As a Project Manager your main responsibility is to manage and control the project assigned to you in terms of time, cost and quality from the point of handover from Sales up until handover to the client and Nordex Service organisation.


Main Responsibilities:


Support the Sales organization in the final stages of tender processes and facilitate a smooth handover from Sales to Project Management
Responsibility to execute comprehensive projects on-time, within budget and to good quality
Manage and monitor all aspects of environment, health and safety in your assigned projects
Being the first contact for all parties involved in the project such as client, subcontractors, suppliers and any other internal or external party
Representing Nordex to our clients – creating a good relationship with the client and delivering customer satisfaction
Running negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers as well as contract management of both
Manage personnel and provide strong control of subcontractors and key suppliers including but not limited to erection and transportation companies throughout the project execution phase
Securing correct project handling and creating a successful cross departmental and often multicultural team
Define and initiate appropriate corrective actions for problems encountered during the execution of the project (related to cost, time and/or quality)
Creating necessary transparency with regards to optimization of cost-effectiveness in cooperation with Commercial Project Management.
Work within Nordex processes to manage and report progress on project with a monthly status report
Manage and report KPIs
Facilitate a smooth handover to colleagues in Service, at the same time as handover to the client



To work successfully as a PM at Nordex you would need to meet the following requirements:


Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing and plant engineering industry. Experience from the wind energy sector or in general energy sectors is considered an advantage
Experience in project management including full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen
Technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar discipline
HSE awareness that shows in your daily approach to your role
Excellent English language skills that allow you to communicate effectively in both writing and in meetings / calls. Good command of Swedish is a benefit
Excellent computer skills are required, especially MS Office and MS Project
Leadership skills and good team forming skills and ability to create a strong, successful and enjoyable team spirit

Job description
Nordex Sweden is now looking for new service Technicians to our new Windfarm just north of Sundsvall.
As a Service Technician in Nysäter Windfarm you will work in a team of around 15 technicians and your main responsibilities are fault clearance and maintenance of the turbines. The main tasks conclude:
Simple repairs of turbines and fault-finding
Complex repair processes in collaboration with technical support
Planned maintenance/inspection activities (sometimes with subcontractors)
Completing and archiving service and work reports in company database
Active contribution to safety awareness and improvements



Requirements
The requirements for the position are:
Electrical and/or Mechanical education on vocational or higher level
Minimum of three years of hydraulic, electrical or mechanical experience
Ability to work using computers (experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office and SAP is considered beneficial)
Ability to solve problems and think analytically
Ability to communicate proficiently using English
A “can do” attitude and team working skills
Flexibility in working time and area



Additional Information
You will need to meet the physical demands of working in the turbines - working in heights and climbing. Therefore you will need to pass a medical check before you start working with us.
You will need to use English on the job since many instructions, trainings and internal communications are available only in English.
The job requires occasional traveling within Sweden and sometimes abroad, for example to our training academy in Germany or Ireland.

We at Nordex Sweden are looking for a new colleague to join our team in the role of an Account Manager. There are just under 50 of us who work at Nordex Sweden in various roles in Sales, Service, HSE, Administration etc. This role we have planned to be based in our Uppsala office, where around 25 of us sit at the moment.


As an Account manager you would be mainly responsible for generation of After Sales Business with our existing clients in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. What we see important is that you would have an proactive approach to sales opportunities on existing and also lost accounts. You would keep yourself up to date on the contractual conditions of our service agreements and support with difficult commercial customer requests and issues.

In this role you would work closely with our Service back-office team, sales team and also the service field teams that work with our clients on the field. The role demands frequent traveling to customer meetings etc. around the Nordic area and within Europe.


Key accountabilities

- Key contact person of clients for commercial and contractual issues for a defined customer portfolio
- Provide consultation to the clients on the scope of services offered by the company
-Responsible for After Sales activities (e.g. proactive approach for Repair/Modification offers and maintenance offers, including following-up offers, negotiating and closing the offer)
- Responsible for After Sales order intake and revenues of the service area
- Negotiate renewals of service agreements of existing wind farms
- Organize frequent and special customer meetings
Build up, develop and maintain long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage client complaints to prevent potential contractual problems
- Calculate and negotiate potential Bonus/Liquidated Damages and variable fees
- Manage potential minor warranty and end of contracts claims of customer and support Customer Manager regarding any major customer claim (e.g. warranty, end of contracts, etc.)
- Reactivate lost accounts
- Responsible and dealing with overdue payments
- Cooperation and manage interface to other operative functions
- Support Local Operations Manager (LOM)/Area Service Manager (ASM) with operational customer complaints
- Knowledge Transfer of Maintenance Service Agreement-contractual scope to the operational function (LOM, ASM, etc.)
- Manage CRM Database
- Monthly reporting to customers
- Support main component planer regarding main component demand non-contractual customers
- Support the Customer Manager regarding the After Sales Reporting Visa mindre

A Tender Manager at Nordex acts as an important interface between Sales and operational Project Management. The key target in this role is to ensure that the contracts Nordex signs are executable in time, budget, scope and quality.

The main focus hereby is the operational project execution in regards to transport and accessibility, project time schedule, project specific cost and budget, risk evaluation, contractual interfaces and take-over criteria as well as all administrative requirements within our customer contracts.

Key accountabilities
• Work closely together with the local Sales organisation as well as relevant functions within the Project Management and other departments throughout the stages of offering and contract negotiation with a focus on project execution topics such as scheduling, logistic studies, cost calculation, contractual interfaces, etc.
• Risk review along the internal Sales project review process (Sales Gate Process) and active transfer of risk mitigation measures to the customer contract negotiations
• Cost calculation for project execution related topics such as WTG installation, crane works, logistics and coordination of costs calculation for wind park infrastructure such as roads, foundations and electrical infrastructure
• Conducting site surveys to check conditions of accessibility in close coordination with the PM logistics department
• Conceptual planning and preparation of projects during the Sales phase in order to facilitate a smooth transfer into project operations
• Tendering and contract negotiation of infrastructure services in for Turnkey Projects in close coordination with the central Turnkey Management team
• Representing the Nordex organization to our clients – creating a good relationship with the clients and delivering customer satisfaction
• Participation in customer contract negotiation
• Liaise with other Nordex department like Engineering, Purchasing, Service and Legal during tendering phase


Requirements and key success factors
• Several years of professional experience in comparable positions incl. full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumen
• Project management experience we deem necessary (preferably in the wind energy sector and/or in turnkey construction projects)
• Technical background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar
• Good knowledge of the local regulations and legal requirements regarding construction works and HSE
• Excellent English language skills; Good command over German or some Nordic language would be advantageous
• Strong interface thinking approach
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in different business cultures

We would be lying if we said that work at Nordex newer gets hectic or that every process and task is like a walk in the park. In this role you do need to work against deadlines to meet the sales negotiation timelines but you also have possibility to design your workdays rather independently. That said what we can though promise you is that you will have a dedicated and experienced team of professionals around you with everyone having their eyes towards the same targets.

In this role you will be expected to travel regularly within Scandinavia and our HQ in Hamburg Germany and occasionally to other relevant countries within Europe as well.

You will be reporting to the Head of Project Management North who is currently stationed in Helsinki. We have our regional main offices in Helsinki and Uppsala and this role can be done from either of them.
